In this "how-to" episode, we will look at the rhema of God and it's connection to faith and the Jesus' Name, Bread of Life. Rhema is the living spoken word of God that is always tested against the Logos, or the written Word of God. How does God speak in Rhema with fresh revelation today? What is the connection of God's rhema to faith? Dr. Patty goes through a series of scriptures and examines the Greek meanings of them to gain special insight. Jesus called Himself the Bread of Life. What can we learn about spiritual bread through understanding physical bread? This special episode will recount some of the major highlights that happened at the DEEPER Spirit Life Workshop that was held in mid-May, 2023 on the shores of Lake Erie, near Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Patty shares what God promised for that workshop and Jesus shares what He accomplished in the hearts of those who were there. The goal of the workshop was to show people how to encounter the glory of God and increase intimacy and clarity of purpose. Dr. Patty tells the stories of some of the miracles that happened and the surprising ways that God adjusted things to make the workshop even better. Quotes from some of the participants further relay the healings and seeds planted. In this "how-to" episode, we will examine revival. What does it mean? What are the conditions that cause it? What did Jesus have to say about this season of awakening and revival? Dr. Patty looks at what can be learned by the first revival in the book of Acts. Then she shares stories and pulls out those conditions in both the Azusa revival in the early 1900s and the Toronto Blessing of the 1990s. She comments on the five lessons about revival learned by a new believer who experienced the Toronto Blessing. Finally, Jesus shares his heart for revival, what motivates Him to show up in a group setting with His manifest presence, and a bit about why spiritual warfare accompanies every revival and how to navigate those waters.
