Experience Jesus with Dr. Patty Sadallah

What if reading the Bible could become more than reading words on a page? What if you could experience Jesus speaking personally to you through His Word?

In this “How-To” episode, we will look at practical ways you can include Jesus while reading, meditating on, and understanding the Bible, so He can make the Word relevant to your everyday life.

Jesus can make your time in the Word fun, engaging, and transformational when you learn the important difference between reading the Word with Him rather than simply reading it for Him or for any other reason.

Dr. Patty shares the Biblical foundation for allowing the Holy Spirit to interpret Scripture for you, rather than trying to understand it solely with your limited human mind. She addresses what Truth really is, and Jesus clarifies the difference between knowing about Him and knowing Him intimately.

Dr. Patty goes back to the basics with the dialogue journaling steps found in Habakkuk 2:1-2. She shares examples of how Jesus speaks in ways that fit your language and cultural framework while always remaining consistent with Biblical Truth.

And to make reading the Word fun, Jesus invites you to step into the Bible story of the Parable of the Four Soils. During your Experience Jesus encounter time, He shows you which soil condition reflects the condition of your heart and what He has for you when you cultivate good soil in your heart.

Could the Fear of the Lord be the missing key to walking in the fullness of the Spirit?

In this “Identity” episode, Dr. Patty explores the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord, one of the Seven Spirits of the Lord. She briefly explains how these Spirits relate to the Nine Manifestation Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Fruit of the Spirit, then shares what Chris Reed discovered during a heavenly encounter in the Library of Heaven.

What is the difference between earthly fear and the Fear of the Lord? How does holy fear connect to the demonstration of God’s power? What blessings come to those who walk in reverence—and what consequences follow when the Fear of the Lord is ignored?

Jesus will invite you to reflect on your own relationship with the Fear of the Lord and show you what your life could look like if you increased it during your Experience Jesus encounter time.

What if nature could teach you how to stop striving and start resting in the flow of God?

In this “How-To” episode, we explore the importance of resting in the Lord and contrast it with striving in our own strength. All of nature and creation naturally obey the design and voice of God, except for humans because of our free will and the Fall of Adam and Eve. So, there is much we can learn about abiding in the flow of the Lord by watching how animals and the elements do it.

Discover fascinating spiritual lessons in the soaring capabilities of the condor, the movement of the wind and waves, and even the flow of a river. Dr. Patty shares a costly personal life lesson about learning to rest and align with God rather than striving in her own strength.

Jesus has a lot to say and show you in this episode. During your Experience Jesus encounter time, He will help you discover your own metaphor in nature for what resting and alignment with Him can look like in your life.

In this special episode, Dr. Patty and Pastor Jay Brogan discussed the role of music in worship in both our connecting with God and how that ministers to His heart,  How does God inhabit the praises of his people?  Jay shares how God can wear our worship offerings like the garment. What is the proper biblical purpose of worship music? How does it help you connect with the heart of God and how is it minister to His heart when we worship with a pure heart?  Jay shares how musicians received the download of lyrics, rhythm, and instrumentation from the Lord.  He also speaks of the responsibility to steward and release any messages that the Lord gives you. Dr. Patty shares a story of how music was able to heal her heart after the loss of her mother.  Jesus connects with you through music in your experience Jesus encounter time.

In today's special "How-To" episode I will be having a nice chat with Kimberly Jones who is a member of my Spirit Life Circle and has some great experience and insight in evangelism.  Presence Evangelism is about inviting God's Presence so that you are seeing, hearing, feeling, and sensing His heart and will for a person.  It will look like God highlighting the person He wants you to bring to Him and directing what you should say and do.   It will include Holy Spirit manifestation gifts such as words of knowledge, prophecy, miracles, healings, etc... any of them that the Holy Spirit releases in that circumstance.  It is essentially evangelizing by surrendering 100% to the Holy Spirit's guidance and power.   Dr. Patty and Kimberly talk about how to overcome the fear of evangelism and how to properly prepare your heart to reach the lost.  They discuss scriptures that ground you in the message of the gospel and Kimberly shares some stories about her experiences doing street evangelization in New York City.  Jesus shares His two cents on how to allow Him to flow through you in this process where He releases His power to save the lost.  Jesus will give you a glimpse of what it would look like for you to practice Presence Evangelism in your own life and will identify what would move you forward in that direction.

In this "How-To" episode, we will look at how to make decisions that are aligned with God's perfect will using a model called The Leader's Paradigm, or as I like to refer to it as; the Six Pillars of Decision Making by Dr. Mark Virkler.  We will dive into each of these six ways God gives direction in detail:  1.  Illumined Scripture, 2. Illumined thoughts, 3. Illumined witness in your heart, 4. Illumined counsel by others, 5. Illumined understanding of life experiences and 6. Illumined revelation from dreams, visions, dialogue journaling, and prophecy.  Each pillar is grounded in a scripture reference and Dr. Patty shares stories and tips about how to connect with God in each one.  She shares a story of what it looks like to make a decision when all of the six pillars line up.  Jesus shows you what you need to do to align with a decision you are wrestling with in your Experience Jesus encountering exercise.

In this "How-to" and "Identity" episode, we will dive into the Holy Spirit's mind manifestation gift of discernment.  Jesus explains what this gift is and is not, so we understand why it's so important in this generation.   How does this gift allow you to see past natural realities into the future of God's will?   And how does knowing that change how you pray with and minister to others?  Dr. Patty shares some biblical and personal stories of how this gift looks when released. How can you practically grow in your sensitivity to the spirit so you can increase your discernment?   What is social proof and how can it be used as a scheme of the enemy if you are not grounded in the Truth?  In order to increase your sensitivity to the Spirit, Dr. Patty shares a quick self-assessment tool that will diagnose the quieting issues that block you from sensing God.    Jesus addresses your quieting issues in your experience with Him and will give you practical tips for increasing your sensitivity to His communications with you.

In this "How-To" episode, we will address the commands of God to ask, seek and knock from Matthew 7:7-8.  Why does God want this from us? What are the benefits when we obey them, and what is lost when we don't? Dr. Patty breaks down the biblical definitions of the key words in this verse to show the deeper meaning that the Lord has in them.  What kinds of things does God want us to ask for?  What does it mean to seek God with all your heart?  What does knocking mean from an action standpoint?  Jesus shares how these commands are a prayer formula for the lifestyle of abiding and how this verse leads to a life of constant signs, wonders, and miracles.  What would it look like if your life was a prayer to the Lord with continual asking, seeking, and Knocking?  Jesus shows you in your Experience Jesus encounter.

In this "identity" episode, Dr. Patty dives into what it looks like to reflect true Biblical Christianity as compared to the counterfeit worldviews of the Pharisees of the Bible or the modern-day self-righteous religious spirit and the New Age belief system.   She is referencing what she learned from the book  Am I Being Deceived?  by Drs. Mark and Patti Virkler.  No one counterfeits anything that is not real or valuable.  True Biblical Christianity combines the Word of God with the Holy Spirit with His interpretation and power.  the New Age belief system is Lie number one which espouses the belief in the spiritual realm apart from God as its source and leader.  So it is spirit without the Bible as a guide.  This lie opens participants to dark spiritual forces that can damage the soul and keep them from eternal life.

Pharisaicalism or the self-righteous religious spirit believes in the Word of God apart from the Holy Spirit.  This worldview as people begin with their own minds to understand the Bible,  with an emphasis on the rules of the Bible, being known more for what they are against than what they are for.  Leaving out the Holy Spirit and His nature and character causes them to reflect an unloving, distant, and punishing God.  Dr. Patty summarizes an interesting Barna Research study on the worldview of American Christians that reveals the costs of believing and living according to the counterfeits.  Jesus shares His heart on this subject and leads you on a path to discover His will for you in the Experience Jesus encounter time.

In this "how-to" episode, Dr. Patty addresses several key questions related to how to make sure you are receiving and releasing anointed messages from God.  This is for anyone who has been called to write a blog, podcast, song, or story for a film, video, or other creative media in order to bless the body of Christ.  Why did God choose you to share a message?  Who is He calling you to bless with it?   What is the desired impact He wants to have in a person's life as a result of it?  How can you tell that the message is from Him and not from yourself?  What is God's way for you to release it?  Jesus shares His purpose for releasing messages through people and answers the key questions for you directly in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

In this "How-To" episode, Dr. Patty addresses how to tap into the mind of Christ to know His will so you can obey His guidance.   How do you allow the Holy Spirit to interpret scripture rather than trying to understand it in your own mind?  What are the dangers of second-hand interpretation of the scriptures?  What can we learn about Jesus' nature and character by looking at what He did while on earth?   How can you reflect God properly and choose love when it's difficult to love people.   How does God share His Omni wisdom with you so you can make His decisions?  Jesus gives you an opportunity to practice this skill in your Experience Jesus encounter with Him.

In this "how-to" and "identity" episode, we will look at the biblical principle of guarding your heart.  What does it mean?  How do you do it?  What happens when you do?  What happens when you don't?  Proverbs 4:23-27 will be broken down to look at how what you see, say, and do affect your level of God's protection.  What open doors can have you walk outside of God's loving protection?  Dr. Patty shares a story of a key lesson and question that can help you see the Truth that will set you free.  What three perspectives about Jesus that are simultaneously true and how can you switch to God's perspective when you understand them?  What is the hidden trap of Satan that you need to be aware of that robs you of your peace and gives the enemy land in your heart?  What can you do to break free from that bondage and avoid that trap in the future?  Jesus shares insight about when it may be His will for you to remove yourself from people or situations in order to guard your heart.  And He shows you your heart and walks you through what you need to do to break free and step back under his protection in your Experience Jesus encountering time.

In this "How-To" episode we will address how to stand on the promises of  God.  How can you find and know what God's promises are in the Bible and specifically for you in your life?  How can you discern God's voice and messages from the enemy's or your own so you are more aware of being led astray?   How do you find the conditions of God's promises for you, so you know exactly what your part is to play in manifesting them?  And, How do you cooperate with God to do your part of God's will for you?  Dr. Patty shares some practical tips that will help you pass the tests during your waiting season so you can keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and not on worldly limitations.  Jesus shares an honest and convicting message about what this issue looks like from His perspective and tells us exactly what we need to do to stand on His promises.   Jesus will show you some personal promises He has for you, and He clarifies the conditions you need to meet to receive them in your experience activation with Him.

In this "How To" and "Identity" episode, we will explore the Name of God Immanuel, the God who is with us.  This is the Name that Isaiah used to describe the promised Messiah in the Old Testament that we now know is Jesus.  We will look practically at how to abide in Christ and allow Him to walk with you one day at a time.  You will learn the difference between justification and sanctification and learn the four rules of abiding in Christ.  Dr. Patty shares the lessons she learned about striving and resting in God and Jesus shares a wonderful metaphor for the level of surrender that is necessary to truly live naturally supernaturally.  Learn the steps of how to allow the Lord to order your day so that all that you do is anointed for His service.  We will learn the biblical foundation for seeing Jesus in three ways.  Jesus helps you practice these in your Experience Jesus encountering time with Him.

In this "how-to" and "identity" episode, Dr. Patty answers key questions about how God heals including:  Why does God allow sickness and injury?  How can you know if God really wants to heal You? And,  why do faithful people die?   Jesus shares how the Great Physician heals with His diagnosis, treatment, and health maintenance ways and helps you understand them with some simple metaphors.  And most importantly, how does healing prayer work and what role do you need to play to cooperate with God's will to heal you?  Dr. Patty includes a fun video and other media to support these lessons. Jesus offers several encounters for you to anchor His promise of healing and discover the conditions for your healing so you may cooperate with Him for your health.

In this "how-to" episode, we look practically at God's command to Fix your Eyes on Jesus.  Several key questions are addressed.   What does it really mean to fix your eyes on Jesus?  Why is it important?  What happens physically, and spiritually when we look at something?  Why should you fix your eyes on Jesus?  What are the eyes and ears of your heart, and how can you engage them to draw closer to God and find your destined calling?  What do your spiritual senses have to do with your destiny and calling?  Dr. Patty explains three relationships we have with Jesus that are simultaneously true.  She clarifies where can we find each truth in the bible and when is it helpful to see Jesus in these ways? The truths are:  Jesus is IN you, Jesus is WITH you, and you are IN Jesus.  She simplifies how to visualize Him related to these truths, and when and why it helps to see Him in each. Jesus will meet you in the way you most need to experience Him as one of these truths in your Experience Jesus encounter.

In this "how-to" episode, we will examine revival.  What does it mean?  What are the conditions that cause it?  What did Jesus have to say about this season of awakening and revival?  Dr. Patty looks at what can be learned by the first revival in the book of Acts.   Then she shares stories and pulls out those conditions in both the Azusa revival in the early 1900s and the Toronto Blessing of the 1990s.   She comments on the five lessons about revival learned by a new believer who experienced the Toronto Blessing.   Finally, Jesus shares his heart for revival, what motivates Him to show up in a group setting with His manifest presence,  and a bit about why spiritual warfare accompanies every revival and how to navigate those waters.  Jesus shows you what part of your heart needs to be resurrected and how He wants to use you in unity with other members of the body of Christ in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

In this "how-to" and "identity" episode Dr. Patty will share about the ways God speaks to you personally and the body of Christ in this time and culture.  She will show you how God spoke in Bible times using the references of everyday life.   Why does God communicate to you?  A word-by-word breakdown of John 3:30 gives you the answer. Dr. Patty shares a conversation with Jesus where He took the verses in John 15 of the vine and the branches and explained them in the modern cultural context of electricity.  She explains how God communicates with words and pictures that connect with your interests, aptitudes, and even your everyday vocabulary.  Even the nickname He calls you is significant.  Jesus shows you ways He is communicating with you that you may not even realize and shows you how you can increase your sensitivity to His messages to you in your Experience Jesus encounter.

Dr. Patty shares her story about how the Lord helped her through disappointment.  When things don't go exactly the way you want or in the time you expect, there can be disappointment and discouragement.  Sometimes this can lead to you being mad at yourself, or mad at God.   What lessons can you learn in these circumstances?  She shares how the Lord reframed her disappointment by showing her something through an encounter, reminding her of a key message of a film clip, and giving her applicable scripture,  two songs, and a dream.   God will use many methods to make sure you get the messages He has for you.  Jesus will reframe a circumstance in your life for which you have been praying and waiting for in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

In this "how-to" episode, we look at the importance of resting in the Lord and contrast it with striving in your own strength.  All nature and created things naturally obey the designs and voice of God except for humans because of our free will and the fall of Adam and Eve.  So there is a lot to learn about how to abide in the flow of the Lord by watching how animals and the elements do it.   There are fascinating spiritual lessons in the soaring capabilities of the condor, the wind and the waves, and even the flow of a river. Dr. Patty shares her costly personal life lesson on this subject.   Jesus has a lot to say and show you in this one and gives you your own metaphor in nature during your Experience Jesus encounter time.
