In this "How-To" episode, Dr. Patty welcomes Kimberly Jones of Revivalist Academy  to discuss the kingdom emotion of Joy.  Kimberly shares how the Lord showed her the way out of a dark season by finding the secrets of joy.  She differentiates joy from happiness as being an internal heart posture from God that is not affected by external circumstances.  They discuss joy robbers and how to combat them.  Dr. Patty shares some lessons she learned about joy from an interesting encountering experience that she had with Jesus.  Kimberly shares about her Supernatural Joy Ministry group which emphasizes practical ways to support members in learning about Christian identity, tuning to God, and being grateful as ways to live a lifestyle marked by joy.  Jesus addresses your joy robbers and shows you what your life could look like if you lived in the heart posture of joy in your experience Jesus encounter time.

Why Does God Allow Pain, Suffering and Evil: Addressing the Skeptic’s Conundrums Part 2 Flashback

This episode is part of a three-part series inspired by questions posed by a sincere skeptic wrestling with what he describes as three major conundrums about God and Christianity.  This episode addresses the question of Why does an all-benevolent God allow pain, suffering, and evil?  Dr. Patty explores the logic train of the skeptic and identifies some basic assumptions that would lead to some wrong conclusions.  What is the true origin of evil?  What is the power of contrary choice and how is that a factor in good and evil?  What are the two types of mourning when there are challenges, pain, and tragedy, and what are the results of each?   How do your choices influence your experience of pain and suffering?  What can you learn about yourself related to the spiritual law of agreement?  Jesus shares His perspective on this topic and invites you to ask Him about something you have always been troubled by and He will give you His perspective and show you the way to healing and understanding in your Experience Jesus encounter.

Breaking Free from Toxic Cyles with Sherry Lynne

In this "how-to" episode Dr. Patty welcomes Sherry Lynne from Sherry Lynne Counseling to discuss breaking free from toxic cycles.  Sherry explains that there are two types of toxic cycles, one that births negative patterns in your life and the second that passes those behaviors to the next generation.  She clarifies what a toxic cycle looks like in relationships and the resulting bondages that it creates.  Dr. Patty shares a bit about the spirit, soul, and body and how fixing your eyes on Jesus can affect your soul and body positively while fixing your eyes on the circumstances can result in negative outcomes that encourage a victim mentality. Sherry shares how with Jesus' help,  you can you break these negative patterns and find hope and victory.  They both share stories of people who were able to break free from toxic cycles and their resulting freedom.  Sherry invites you to join her FaceBook group called Christian Women Overcomers where you can find support if you are needing to be free from toxic cycles in your own life.   Jesus gives His perspective on this issue and issues you a hopeful challenge if you are going through something like this, or know someone who is in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

God Speaks through Art with Martina Keast

In this special "How-To" episode, Dr. Patty and Spirit Life Circle member, Martina Keast have a wonderful discussion about how God speaks through creative avenues.  Martina shares how she ministers God's healing through art.  Listening and looking at what God shows you through pictures and asking Him questions about their meanings can lead to deep inner healing.  Martina shares her story of how God healed her through art and another story of someone she ministered to that had a wonderful result.  Dr. Patty shares the story of how God recently added an art room to her special place and gives her prophetic things to paint in the spirit with God and then paints them in the natural world.  She shares what Jesus had to say about how art can heal and why He communicates through creative methods.  Martina emphasizes that you do not need to be a good artist for God to heal you through art.  Jesus takes you on an artistic adventure in your experience encounter.

Say Goodbye to the Old Say Hello to the New
